US Coast Guard Auxiliary
Volunteer to Make a Difference!
- The Coast Guard Auxiliary is the civilian, non-military component of the Coast Guard team, created by an act of Congress in 1939. The Auxiliary directly supports the Coast Guard in all of its missions except military and law enforcement actions.
- The Auxiliary is looking for quality members, people like you! US citizens 17 years of age and older can join. For a free prospective membership booklet and information check out the Auxiliary website www.cgaux.org.
- Members of the local Auxiliary meet the second Tuesday of every month between 6:30 and 9:00 PM at the Perkins restaurant in St. Joseph, Missouri, just off I-29 at the Frederick Boulevard exit. Drop by and meet us!
